FITCHBURG, Wis. — Multiple reports of hate flyers were received by Fitchburg Police. They were seen south of McKee Road.
This is not unheard of, as police said that in the past weeks there have been flyers spreading with similar rhetoric in surrounding communities.
Fitchburg police said the flyers appear to originate from a group that several organizations have identified as a hate group. FPD did not share further details on the flyers in an effort to limit the spread of the hateful message.
Residents are encouraged to contact the Fitchburg Police Department at (608)270-4300 or 911 if they feel threatened, or if they have video related to the flyers’ distribution.
