SEVERAL WEATHERMAKERS TO WATCH THIS WEEK

Quiet conditions hold tonight and for most of Monday. Look for lows in the single digits tonight with wind chills falling back below zero. We’ll continue with lots early sun on Monday but clouds will increase during the afternoon. Highs should top out mainly in the lower 20s.

A few light snow showers are possible Monday evening/night as a weak front passes. I don’t expect too much but some of us could get a coating. Highs on Tuesday in the wake of the front will be only in the mid to low teens, even with plentiful sunshine.

A stronger weathermaker is going to move through the Great Lakes region Wednesday and Thursday. The track is everything for us here in NE Wisconsin, a shift more to the east means we’ll miss out and a shift back to the west would mean several inches of snow. We are going to include a chance of at least a few inches (1-3+) from the Fox Valley to the Lakeshore late Wednesday and Wednesday night. It looks like this area would have the best chance for some decent accumulation if it pans out. Stay tuned for updates over the coming days.

Some light snow is also possible Friday and Saturday. The most recent data suggests that the heaviest snow with this system may stay to our south. It definitely bears watching since this storm will also be pretty impactful wherever it goes…
