DANE COUNTY, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public meeting to gather input about improving U.S. Highway 51 from South Harrison Street in Stoughton to Larson Beach Road in McFarland.
The meeting is scheduled for April 24 beginning at 5:30 p.m., with a brief presentation starting at 5:45. The remainder of the meeting will be formatted as an open-house format and is set to end at 7 p.m.
According to WisDOT, the project’s purpose is to provide safe and efficient transportation along the state highway corridor.
