Monona waterfront housing development gets City Council’s OK

The Monona City Council on April 21 approved initial plans for a new waterfront housing development on River Place, according to the Leader Independent. The project is set to occur in two phases.

The first phase will construct a seven-story building offering 125 units. It will also include amenities such as an outdoor pool and plaza deck, a fitness center, tenant storage, a pet wash, a community room and covered parking. A 30-year-old building currently on the project site will stay until the second phase.
