District 1 Alder Brandon Braithwaite announced his resignation from the City of Verona Common Council during a meeting on Monday, May 12.
“My family’s transitioning to move out of state, so I’ll have to be resigning from my city council seat effective June 1,” he said.
Braithwaite was elected to the council in April 2024. His last meeting will be on Tuesday, May 27.
