MADISON, Wis. — A woman accused of killing her mother in Blue Mounds earlier this year was deemed competent and bound over for trial Monday, online court records show.
Sierra Schoonover, 31, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide by use of a dangerous weapon with a domestic abuse assessment. Prosecutors say she killed her mother, 54-year-old Heather Schoonover.
Heather was found dead on April 14 at a home in the 10800 block of Smokey Mountain Trail. Sierra was taken into custody following a crash. According to a complaint, a neighbor saw Sierra naked in her driveway arguing with Heather before she was found dead. Sierra was still naked when the crash occurred…
