Heat advisory issued in Dane County

MADISON, Wis. — The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for east-central, south-central and southeastern Wisconsin from noon Saturday to 7 p.m. Monday.

The heat index is expected to reach values up to 103°F  in some areas, and when paired with high humidity, can cause illnesses such as heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
