WAUNAKEE, Wis. — The Wisconsin National Guard will help add a bit of flair to Independence Day celebrations in Waunakee and DeForest this week.
The 132nd Army Band will perform at the Waunakee Community Band Concert Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Waunakee Village Park Gazebo. The band will march in an Independence Day parade in DeForest on July 4 beginning at 10 a.m.
Also on July 4, the 1st Battalion, 147th Aviation will have a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter display at WaunaBoom in Waunakee. The helicopter is expected to fly into Ripp Park at around 2 p.m. and will be available to see until 4 p.m…
