Driving past Zippy Lube Coffee, Donuts and Fried Chicken, onlookers might mistake the classic American comfort food joint — with its large garage doors and border of decorative blue-and-white oil barrels — for an oil change station. After all, the building used to be a Jiffy Lube.
Co-proprietor Benjamin Altschul came across the for-sale oil change depot eight years ago while preparing to purchase Busse’s Tavern next door.
