Madison’s first ‘Spirit Walk’ to fundraise for clean water initiatives

MADISON, Wis. — Madison will host its first-ever “Spirit Walk” to raise funds for the Tomacaya Water Project on Saturday, July 12.

The Tomacaya Water Project, led by UW-Madison’s Engineers Without Borders chapter, helps bring clean water to the Andean village of Tomacaya, Peru.

The walk is being organized by Madison-based non-profit, Mundo Esperanza, whose mission is to “honor and increase in awareness the principals, practices, and spiritual beliefs of the indigenous peoples of the Americas,” according to their website…
