MADISON, Wis. — The wait for the highly-anticipated Madison Public Market grew a bit longer Thursday. The project has run into setbacks in construction and will have to delay its grand opening.
In a message on Facebook, the Madison Public Market Foundation said it has seen delays in finalizing leases and improving the building to meet public health standards.
“These construction setbacks were not part of our original roadmap, but we’re working closely with the City of Madison to ensure that the Market opens safely, sustainably, and ready to support our amazing group of local entrepreneurs,” the foundation said…
