1. UW-Madison student leaders react to closure of diversity office

The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced Wednesday the school will shut down its Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement (DDEEA). Tyler Jake and Deanna Frater are the president and vice president of UW-Madison’s Black Student Union. As they get ready to head back to campus for their senior year, they’re surprised they got no warning that DDEEA is closing.
