The Paoli Zwingli United Church of Christ Council is excited to announce that we have a new settled pastor. Rev. Karla Schmidt began June 2024 and has been with us for a year.
Pastor Karla has served several congregations in the past as well as served as a campus minister. She brings this experience and her love of supporting all ages in their spiritual growth, in community, and activities/programs that serve those in need.
“I am delighted to be serving the sweet community of Zwingli UCC as together we build community within the congregation – as well as within the local area,” wrote Schmidt. “The church’s motto is so true: “A Small Church with a Big and Open Heart”. In these challenging times, we all need those spaces where we belong and our uniqueness is honored, where God’s love, grace, justice and peace is our foundation and inspiration, and where we can become God’s heart and hands in our hurting divided world.
