Wisconsin meteorologist warns mom of incoming tornado live on air

A Wisconsin television meteorologist has gone viral for warning his mother of an incoming tornado while he was live on the air at WISC-TV in Madison.

Blaise Keller, a meteorologist for WISC-TV in Madison, was live on the air during the July 16 severe weather outbreak that produced five tornadoes in southern Wisconsin — one of them headed straight for his mother’s home.

“A trained spotter has reported a tornado along County Road Z, a reported funnel cloud County Road YZ, so that would be right where we’re looking at — so I’m going to text my mom and let her know,” Keller said during the live severe storm coverage…
