Madison leaders celebrate initiative aimed at lowering number of deadly crashes

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Madison residents may notice a change with some speed limits in their neighborhood.

Many communities are changing their speed limit to 20 mph, a part of the 20 is Plenty program, which aims to reduce speed limits from 25 to 20 mph.

This program is a part of a larger program called Vision Zero, which aims to decrease the number of deadly crashes in Madison to zero by 2035…
