New indoor market opens in Mount Horeb

MoHo Maker’s Market Square — a three-story, 19,000-square-foot space specializing in goods directly from artisans and craftspeople — opened in downtown Mount Horeb on July 19.

Mount Horeb residents Tyler Marks, his wife, Linda Marks, and sister, Julie Reardon, who lives in Sauk City, initially purchased the former office space on Main Street in February 2024. While remodeling, the group realized the need for a central hub for Mount Horeb’s arts community.

“There’ve been a lot of markets and pop-up markets regionally that we’ve visited, but we just thought it’d be a really cool idea to try to make something so people could have permanent spots,” Tyler Marks says…
