MADISON, Wis. — The man accused of committing arson to give his cat a “proper cremation” and displacing five people entered a not guilty plea during his court appearance on Wednesday, online court records show.
Vince Hildestad, 53, went missing for a week after he allegedly set his apartment on fire on the 1700 block of Blossom Lane on May 20.
According to the criminal complaint obtained by Channel3000.com, Hildestad discovered he has Parkinson’s disease, and reportedly told investigators he wanted to give his cat “a proper cremation.”…
