Dear Editor: I am moved by the actions of Madison’s former police chief, the Rev. David Couper.
The time is now to speak up and speak out about the cruelty being done to the most vulnerable in our communities. I am a person of strong faith who was raised to belive in being kind to others and to stand against actions that hurt others. My grandparents, William and Anna Mae Miller, left a legacy about fighting against injustice. It was our faith that brought Black people out of the cruelty and visciouness of slavery and it will be our faith that will bring us out of these hard times we are experiencing now…
