MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Other than the wildfire smoke that has been lingering in the area, we really couldn’t have asked for better weather here in southern Wisconsin over the last several days. This will continue to be the case today as we are forecasting highs in the low 80s today with plenty of sunshine as we start the work week.
As you step out the door this morning for your morning commute, you may notice areas of patchy fog. This will clear making the main weather headline the air quality. Wildfire smoke continues to linger throughout the area and the Air Quality Advisory continues for today. The advisory has now been extended until noon on Tuesday, but the smoke forecast is looking to improve as we head through the next couple of days as we shift to southerly winds to push out…..
