Public Health Madison & Dane County warns of measles high risk as cases are confirmed in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – After nine cases of measles were identified in Wisconsin, Public Health Madison & Dane County says cases are on the rise around the world. PHMDC encourages people to be vaccinated against the disease.

Deputy Director of PHMDC Community Health Division, Kate Louther, says cases are the highest she’s ever seen. She says travel is a leading cause of the spread.
