Madison’s 10th Annual Black Restaurant Week to kick off Sunday

MADISON, Wis. — The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce will host the 10th Annual Madison Black Restaurant Week from Aug. 10-17.

Championed by Milele Chikasa Anana, the first Madison Black Restaurant Week was held in 2015, making it the first of its kind in the country, according to the MBRW website.

This week of flavor starts with a “$5 Food Taste Jamboree” at Warner Park, where food-lovers can buy $5 bites from Black-owned restaurants from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will also be live music, games, face painting and lots of family fun…
