WI Barrel Company to Host Grand Opening

The Wisconsin Barrel Company–one of Lodi’s newest businesses–will be hosting a grand opening on August 16th from 10am to 4pm.

The Wisconsin Barrel Company is run by Dustin Coyle, and includes his brother Devin and father Dave (who “retired into the business”). They’ve been in business since 2017 when they started creating furniture and other items from used whiskey and bourbon barrels. Bourbon, by definition, must be aged in new oak barrels, so they can’t be reused by the distillery. They frequently find new life as aging barrels for other alcohols–such as wine or beer–or get turned into furniture and other decorative items.

That’s what the Coyle family is doing–as well as offering a wide range of whiskey-related items–such as toffee, coffee, and barrel-aged maple syrup. And for those who are wondering: Yes, they do have a class-A liquor licence and are selling Wisconsin-centric whiskeys and other spirits–focusing on the mid- to high-end offerings…
