Katari Key is the new athletic director at One City Schools, the public charter school in Madison announced on Wednesday. Key, who most recently served as director of athletics at Alverno College in Milwaukee, brings over 15 years of collegiate athletic administration experience to her new position.
“During her impressive career, Katari has served in leadership roles at Livingstone College, Morehouse College, and Seton Hill University. She was honored at the 40th Annual Black Excellence Gala for Women in Sports and was highlighted as one of the Notable Women in Sport by the Milwaukee Business Journal in 2024,” One City Schools said in a social media post introducing Key on Wednesday. “Katari is a passionate advocate for equity in sports and has a proven track record of building diverse, successful athletic programs.”…
