MIDDLETON, Wis. — A man who allegedly drove away from a traffic stop in Iowa County Tuesday afternoon was arrested in Middleton later that night.
An Iowa County sergeant stopped to 30-year-old Madison man at around 5:13 p.m. Tuesday along U.S. Highway 18/151 in the Town of Ridgeway, roughly one mile east of County Highway YZ.
After speaking to the sergeant and giving out his identifying information, the man allegedly sped away from the stop. A chase ensued, however law enforcement had to stop their pursuit because the man allegedly drove into a closed portion of the highway where four construction workers were working…
