The shelter will open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and there will be extra staff and volunteers on hand to help adopters. For one day only, DCHS will offer the following sales:
- Dogs — $75 off current adoption fees
- Cats — $10 for adults and seniors, $75 for kittens
- Critters — 50% off current adoption fees
- Lonely Hearts Club animals — $100 or less for dogs, fees waived for cats
Those looking to bring home a new pet should bring leashes, carriers and any other supplies needed for transport. There will also be items for sale in the adoption center at a 10% discount.
” Our team is very excited about the finale and want to help ALL of our dogs, cats, critters, and barnyard friends find new families,” DCHS spokesperson Lisa Bernard said. ” We hope our community will join us on Saturday, so we can find every one of these amazing pets a new home and clear our shelter!”…
