MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are possible late tonight into early Saturday morning as a cold front moves through the region. Instability will remain weak, so widespread storms are not expected, and only light, passing activity is likely. By Saturday afternoon, brisk west-northwest winds will develop behind the front, ushering in cooler air and setting up a transition toward a less humid, breezier pattern that continues into the weekend.
