Austin police find man’s West Point graduation ring along I-90

(ABC 6 News) – Several people make mistakes that make them question what on earth they just did. For Dan Peasture, that happened when he accidentally threw some food out the window of his car, along with his West Point Military Academy graduation ring.

Peasture was driving to his home in Madison, Wisconsin, after he completed a work conference in Sioux Falls. He said he was on a phone call when he took some leftover food he ate earlier and threw it out the window along Interstate 90 in Austin.

The ring was given to him in 2005, following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Pesature said when he realized it was missing, he looked over on the side of the I-90 for over two hours…
