UWPD says 5 e-bike, e-scooter thefts reported on campus in last 2 weeks

MADISON, Wis. – The UW-Madison Police Department said Monday that it received five reports of e-bike and e-scooter thefts on campus over the last two weeks.

From Aug. 28 to Sept. 13, bicycles or scooters were stolen from locations including Union South, the Lowell Center, the Nicholas Recreation Center and Ogg Residence Hall.

UWPD said it was actively investigating the thefts and asked students and staff to take steps to prevent similar crimes…
