MADISON, Wis. — Slow down and phones down — that’s the message Dane County law enforcement agencies are sending after a rise in school-related traffic injuries.
According to the nonprofit Safe Communities, last year in Dane County, three children between the ages of 5 and 18 were injured walking, and two were injured while biking in school zones.
