Middleton jewelry store donating part of weekend proceeds to Porchlight shelter

MIDDLETON, Wis. (WMTV) – A jewelry store in Middleton decided that this weekend, they are “buying gold for good.”

Middleton Jewelers owner, Manny Soin, decided to donate a percentage of their profits made Friday and Saturday to Porchlight, a Dane County-based non-profit that provides shelter, housing and support to people experiencing homelessness.

Soin said that this weekend is an especially good time to give back to the community because the price of gold has recently reached an all-time high. This means the jewelry people bring in will be worth more, and more money can be donated to the good cause…
