MADISON, Wis. — A local business on Madison’s east side near East Towne Mall was broken into Saturday night, police said.
Police were called to the business in the 2300 block of East Springs Drive for an armed robbery before 8:30 p.m. Saturday. An employee alleged that three Hispanic men entered the store, one of whom was armed with a metal pipe. One of the men approached a customer and reportedly stole his phone and wallet, while the other two pushed an employee over to the register. They took money and left the scene prior to police arrival…
