Madison police investigate bullet that hit home on east side

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating a bullet that hit a home on the city’s east side on Friday night.

Officers responded to a shots fired incident just before 10:45 p.m. in the 3300 block of Lexington Avenue. Police said a resident was awoken by gunshots and discovered a bullet struck his house.

Nobody inside the home was injured, and no arrests have been made. Physical evidence was recovered from the scene. and the investigation is ongoing…
