MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A month after WMTV 15 News first reported on the RoundTrip Greater Madison transportation challenge, organizers say their biggest event yet shows just how much collective action can add up.
More than 300 participants logged over 9,300 bike, bus, walk and carpool trips in September — the biggest turnout yet, according to the Greater Madison Metropolitan Planning Organization.
“Yeah, it was awesome, biggest challenge yet. We had over 300 people across Dane County join in,” said Kayla Haas, marketing and communications specialist for the MPO. “And together they logged over 9,300 bike, bus, walk and carpool trips throughout the month.”…
