(DEFOREST) A woman arrested by ICE following a crash that killed two teenagers near DeForest this summer was arraigned Tuesday. Noelia Martinez-Avila entered not guilty pleas to six felony counts including homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Authorities say the 30-year-old was under the influence and driving the wrong way on Interstate 39-90 when her vehicle crashed into another vehicle on July 20th. Eighteen-year-old Hallie Helgeson died immediately. Nineteen-year-old Brady Heiling died in the hospital several days later. Both were from Minnesota.
