Madison, WI – The Madison Police Department is inviting residents to a free Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) training on Tuesday, Nov. 5, designed to prepare the public to respond safely and effectively in an active shooter situation.
According to Madison Police, the two-hour session will be held at the MPD Training Center, 5702 Femrite Dr., from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The course uses real-world examples to teach participants the nationally recognized “Avoid, Deny, Defend” strategy for surviving violent encounters…
