Gun possibly fired during road rage incident in Madison

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said a gun was possibly fired during a road rage incident on the city’s east side Saturday night.

The incident was reported at around 7:50 p.m. A driver said she was near Cottage Grove Road and Stoughton Road when a pickup truck began driving behind her very closely.

At one point, the driver reported hearing loud popping noises and thought that the pickup truck driver had fired a gun. No injuries have been reported stemming from the incident and there have been no reports of property damage…
