John Nolen Drive lane closures cause 8-minute driver delays, city says

During the first week of lane closures on John Nolen Drive, traffic congestion grew throughout the area but to generally expected levels, according to a city traffic official.

The city estimated diversions from John Nolen Drive caused about eight-minute delays for the typical driver, with Park Street, Fish Hatchery Road and West Washington Avenue being the most affected streets.
