Between 6:00 a.m. on October 22 and 6:00 a.m. on October 23, 2025, local police responded to 388 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. The calls were spread across city districts. The East district had the most calls with 101. North had 75, Central had 57, Midtown had 54, South had 51, and West had 46. Four calls were listed as ‘Other,’ which includes calls outside city sectors or those involving help to other law enforcement agencies.
During this 24-hour period, officers had to prioritize calls because of staffing and resource limits. This was especially the case from 12:31 p.m. to 3:26 p.m. and from 4:44 p.m. to 10:37 p.m. During these times, only the most urgent incidents were handled.
In the North district at 7:48 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance. A 31-year-old man, reportedly under the influence of crack cocaine, resisted officers.
