TOWN OF CHRISTIANA, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday identified the person who died in a crash on I-39/90 in the Town of Christiana near McFarland Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred at around 4:30 p.m. near mile marker 151 when a southbound SUV left the road and entered the median. The vehicle rolled several times and came to rest on the northbound side causing an interstate shutdown that lasted over three hours. Four other people were injured.
Victor M. Navas Jr., 34 and of Chicago, died at the hospital on Tuesday, with a forensic examination completed Wednesday. Preliminary results confirmed that Navas died as a result of his injuries sustained in the crash…
