Dane County detox program still faces an uncertain future amid budget struggles

MADISON, Wis. — Detox services in Dane County will likely be around a little longer, at least into early 2026. That’s after a short-term funding solution was proposed earlier this week.

While there might not be a lapse in services for now, a looming shutdown of the program still has county leaders concerned.

Dane County owns the building on Industrial Drive in Madison where the current detox program is operated. However, Tellurian Behavioral Health provides the services inside, at least until the end of the year, and likely thereafter for a short time…
