Madison Police arrest man accused of drunkenly hitting electric scooter with his car

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A person riding a scooter last week was hurt after being hit by a car in downtown Madison, police said.

Madison Police Department was called around 4 p.m. on Oct. 24 to the 400 block of North Frances Street after reports of a car and electric scooter collision.

Police said the driver of the car was attempting to turn into a driveway and didn’t see the electric scooter next to him. Then the two collided…
