FITCHBURG, Wis. — Wisconsin’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as FoodShare, is set to run out of federal funding at the end of this month.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, this will impact roughly 700,000 Wisconsinites due to the ongoing government shutdown. Many restaurants are making sure these Wisconsinites have food on the table.
