Madison, WI – Marathon runners in Madison will need more than endurance on Sunday — they’ll need layers. The annual Madison Marathon kicks off under partly sunny skies, but temperatures will struggle to climb above freezing, with gusty north winds making conditions feel even colder.
According to the National Weather Service, race-day highs will peak near 32°F, but winds around 15 mph — with gusts up to 25 mph — will cut into warmth. There’s also a slight 20% chance of snow showers after 1 p.m., which could affect later finishers and spectators lingering along the course…
