Warrant issued for Wisconsin man after failing to appear in court on drug, weapons charges

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) — A warrant has been issued for a 28-year-old Wisconsin man after he failed to appear in court following his arrest on drug and weapons charges.

On Oct. 28, 2025, a Waukesha County sheriff’s deputy conducting routine patrol in Pewaukee found a man asleep in a running vehicle parked in a park-and-ride lot.

The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Kevin Pila, 28, of Madison, and saw drug paraphernalia in plain view. A search of the vehicle uncovered two small bags of methamphetamine, two smoking pipes, and a 9mm handgun with an extended magazine. The gun was later confirmed to be stolen.

Pila was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, and bail jumping.

He was scheduled for a court appearance on Nov. 11, 2025, but did not appear. A warrant has since been issued for his arrest.
