On November 11, 2025, the Police Civilian Oversight Board (PCOB) heard presentations from three finalists for the Interim Independent Monitor position: Brooke Blakey, Aeiramique Glass, and Mary Opler. The board then met in a closed session to select a top candidate for background checks.
