Local Police Respond to 415 Calls in 24 Hours: Arrests, Missing Children, and Major Incidents Across City Districts

Between 6:00 a.m. on November 20 and 6:00 a.m. on November 21, 2025, local police responded to 415 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or accidental 911 calls. Calls were spread across city districts. The East district had 101 calls, Central had 74, Midtown had 69, North had 62, West had 46, South had 44, and 19 calls were listed as ‘Other.’ The ‘Other’ category includes calls outside city sectors or those involving help to other law enforcement agencies.

During this 24-hour period, officers handled only priority calls during three time frames: 5:17 p.m. to 5:55 p.m., 8:32 p.m. to 10:03 p.m., and 11:03 p.m. to 1:23 a.m. This was due to a high volume of calls.

In the North district, police arrested a 37-year-old man for domestic strangulation, battery, and disorderly conduct after a domestic disturbance.
