Wisconsin man arrested after multiple high-speed incidents

(WFRV) — A 20-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested early Saturday morning after reportedly reaching speeds over 120 mph and fleeing law enforcement multiple times across Dane County.

According to the Monona Police Department, the incident began around 1:44 a.m. on Nov. 22, 2025, when a sergeant attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling westbound on U.S. 12 from Highway 51.

Police say the driver initially slowed as if to stop but then accelerated, cut across lanes and exited at South Towne Drive before re-entering westbound U.S. 12. The sergeant ended the attempt to stop the vehicle, but officers reported seeing it continue at speeds exceeding 100 mph.

At 1:48 a.m., Madison Police notified Monona officers that the same vehicle was driving recklessly several miles ahead. Monona officers spotted the car making erratic lane changes and again attempted a stop. The driver fled eastbound on U.S. 12 and exited onto Rimrock Road before officers terminated the pursuit a second time…
