Police Respond to 436 Calls Across City Districts in 24 Hours, Including Arrests and Priority Incidents

Between 6:00 a.m. on November 25 and 6:00 a.m. on November 26, 2025, local law enforcement responded to 436 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or accidental 911 calls. The calls were spread across city districts: East had 92, Midtown 84, North 67, West 63, Central 55, South 54, and 21 were listed as ‘Other.’ The ‘Other’ category covers calls outside city sectors or those involving help to other agencies.

During this 24-hour period, officers had to prioritize calls due to limited staffing at two times: from 11:38 a.m. to 12:07 p.m., and from 8:30 p.m. to 9:29 p.m. Only priority incidents were handled during these intervals.

In the East district, officers arrested a 61-year-old man for his fourth offense of operating a vehicle under the influence. He had argued with a former co-worker and was suspected of being armed.
