FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) – GiGi’s Playhouse Madison broke ground on its future “forever home” in Fitchburg on Friday.
About 70 people, from playhouse families to elected officials and community partners attended the event.
Officials say the groundbreaking marks a milestone for GiGi’s Playhouse as the non-profit prepares to expand its impact for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families across the area.
“We’re also within a ten mile radius reaching 90% of the Dane County population so that means our volunteers can find us more easily, our families can get to us more easily and it just means that we’re going to be able to really support the community in a bigger way and be more accessible to everybody,” Executive Director of GiGi’s Playhouse Madison Kelly Antonson said…
