MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – After last weekend’s winter storm kept shoppers home during two of the year’s biggest retail days, Madison businesses are getting a second shot at Small Business Saturday.
Many storefronts say Black Friday and Small Business Saturday are days they typically rely on, but this year’s timing left them scrambling.
“It’s something that we do rely on, definitely,” said Skylar Palm, General Store Manager and Buyer at Art Gecko on State Street. “It’s something that when we miss both Black Friday and Small Business Saturday… that weekend kind of just becomes a wash. But it’s okay because we try and make it up the rest of December.”…
